Certification

Today in society certification is a common requirement. There are two main areas where timber is considered to need certification, these are to determine if the timber in its raw material, log form, has been sustainably harvested and that the products, when manufactured, meet minimum standards in relation to quality assurance.

Cypress NSW has endevoured to meet these requriments by ensuring that all timber produced by its members comes from the sustainably harvested forests of Forests NSW and by installing a quality assurance scheme under the management of Australian Timber Industry Certification Pty Ltd.
